An AI screen recorder
that keeps your screen private.
LaunchLoop's AI plans zooms, writes chapter titles from your screen text, cuts filler words and blurs secrets. Transcription and rendering stay on your PC.
The problem
Most AI screen recorders upload your recording to edit it, which is a problem when your screen shows customer data.
How to do it with LaunchLoop
- Record as usual. Captions are transcribed on your PC by a local model.
- LaunchLoop reads the screen text locally and drafts the story, steps and titles.
- Optionally ask the AI writer for a sharper script; only the text brief is sent, never the video.
- Smart Redact blurs emails and keys before anything leaves your machine.
Know which parts use AI and where they run
Start with capture and editing on your PC. Use automatic zooms and local captions independently of the optional writer. If you choose writing assistance, review the script and camera choices before rendering.
Before you publish
The optional AI writer sends the brief and extracted screen text to the configured service. Local transcription needs a one-time model download; activation also uses the network.
What you need
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, a short recording or supported source material, and enough disk space for the source and export. Test a short export on your own PC before a deadline. Free exports are 720p with a watermark; see licence availability and AI allowances.
Recording, transcription and rendering run locally. Optional AI writing sends your brief and extracted screen text, never the video or audio. Read the full privacy details.
