Your Product Hunt video,
from one recording.
Turn a 20-second screen recording into a Product Hunt launch video: hook, brand reveal, feature shots, music and a call to action. On Windows.
The problem
Launch day is close and the video still isn't made. Editors cost days; templates look like templates.
How to do it with LaunchLoop
- Record the one flow that shows your product's value, about 20-60 seconds.
- Open Make a demo, choose Trailer and the Electric or Midnight look.
- Type your product name and one-line promise; add three pain points for the hook.
- Press Make a demo, pick Trailer and press Make the film. It comes out at 16:9, the Product Hunt gallery size.
Build a story for launch day
Start with one useful product flow, rather than a tour of every menu. Show the outcome early, explain two or three moments, and finish with the product name and a next step. Keep the important interface readable on a phone.
Before you publish
Check the current gallery and video-upload requirements on Product Hunt. A suggested 30–60 second story is editorial guidance, not a platform limit.
What you need
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, a short recording or supported source material, and enough disk space for the source and export. Test a short export on your own PC before a deadline. Free exports are 720p with a watermark; see licence availability and AI allowances.
Recording, transcription and rendering run locally. Optional AI writing sends your brief and extracted screen text, never the video or audio. Read the full privacy details.
