Use case

GIFs for X,
one per feature.

Make a launch film from one Windows recording and get a looping GIF and MP4 for every feature, each under X's 15 MB limit. Cut on your PC, ready to post.

The problem

Launch threads need a GIF per feature, and cutting, cropping and compressing each one by hand eats an evening.

How to do it with LaunchLoop

  1. Record your product once.
  2. Make a launch film in any style: Trailer, Hype, Flow or Showcase.
  3. Leave Also cut GIFs for X on. Each feature, the reveal and the outro become a six-second loop.
  4. Post the GIFs in your launch thread; the MP4 copies are there for LinkedIn and Product Hunt comments.

Make each loop explain one feature

Pick one feature per clip. Export social cuts from the film and use the GIF when looping helps explain the action; use the MP4 copy when quality, audio or a smaller download matters more.

Start from a finished launch film. Actual LaunchLoop output; examples illustrate the workflow, not a guaranteed result for every recording.

Before you publish

Check the exported file size and the current platform upload requirements. GIF does not carry audio, and very small interface text may not survive compression.

What you need

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, a short recording or supported source material, and enough disk space for the source and export. Test a short export on your own PC before a deadline. Free exports are 720p with a watermark; see licence availability and AI allowances.

Recording, transcription and rendering run locally. Optional AI writing sends your brief and extracted screen text, never the video or audio. Read the full privacy details.
